What is heart counseling?

Led by the Holy Spirit

There are so many things we could get healing from our past, but it is important to let the Holy Spirit guide us to what He wants to heal. Often our pain is hidden in our hearts but we see it come out in anxiety, fear, anger, and other negative emotions, and may not know why. Before we can truly be healed, we need Jesus to show us the cause of our pain. At Healing Center SD Inc, we partner with the Holy Spirit to guide you to the root of your pain so you can get deep healing. Zechariah 4:6 says, “ ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts.”

Reconnect with Love

Love is the key ingredient that heals all our pain. By aligning ourselves with the tool of love (forgiveness, mercy, and grace) and applying them to our past pain, we begin to heal. Then we allow the truth and word of God speak into those areas to bring us into freedom. 1 John 4:19 says, “We love because he first loved us.”

Walk in Wholeness

The cross was the final victory over sin and death, yet sin and death are still hard at work to keep us from truly experiencing true freedom. By healing the areas of our hearts that hold pain we get released to walk in victory and freedom that Christ intends for us. John 10:10 says, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

Who is heart counseling for?

We believe that everyone can benefit from a heart counseling session. However, these sessions are especially helpful for anyone who is ready to make changes in their life and may experience the following:

• Do you live in daily anxiety or depression?

• Do you need healing from abuse?

• Have you been deeply wounded by betrayal?

• Do you need peace and joy in your life?

What should you expect?

Your Appointment

• This is NOT psychotherapy. It is a gentle, yet powerful, tool for deep healing and deliverance. The goal is to uncover and address root issues that hinder your personal growth and your relationship with God and others.

• Each session has 1-2 Certified Heart Counselors in the room who are guiding you through a process of connecting with God. As the Holy Spirit leads, you’ll be invited to ask Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit questions about: 1) lies you’re believing, 2) wounds that need healing, 3) people to forgive, 4) unhealthy relational/generational lies, and 5) sins to renounce.

• You’ll invite God into your areas of pain and experience a fresh revelation of God’s love for you. Often, you’ll learn God’s perspective on whatever situation you’re facing, and this insight will bring the next layer of freedom you need.

• Each session is specific to the person being ministered to, and every session is unique. God knows best what you need, and our goal is to facilitate the next step of your healing journey.

Intake Process

1. Click “Request Appointment” to select the time and Heart Counselor of your choice (you can read bios on the About page).

2. Intake paperwork will be emailed to you once the request is accepted and you will receive a call from the Heart Counselor you selected.

3. Sessions cost $105 with a Certified Heart Counselor. Session cost $225 with founder, Madi Stonier, LCSW.
